Xenith Pro Varsity Skill
The skill-position cut of Xenith's varsity pad. Lighter, leaner, built for the players who need the throw, the cut, and the catch unrestricted.
If you live at the perimeter, you already know the feeling of pads that fight you on the route. The Pro Varsity Skill exists to stop that conversation. Trimmed-down injection-molded arches, narrower chest plates, and a flex hinge between the upper and lower body padding give quarterbacks, receivers, defensive backs, and safeties the throwing arc, the rotation, and the closing speed they need, with the impact protection of a real varsity pad underneath.
Built for the skill cut
- Low-profile arches: injection-molded polymer resin shells sit close to the body so they don't ride up on the catch or the throw.
- Narrowed chest coverage: trimmed for shoulder freedom without sacrificing sternum and clavicle protection.
- Flex hinge body padding: upper and lower padding pivot independently, so a swing tackle or a route break does not pull the pad with it.
Fit and feel
- Adjustable channel pads: tune the rib and lat fit to your build.
- Quick-change body padding: liners come out for cleaning, drying, or aftermarket inserts.
- Heavy-duty belt system: coated nylon belts and stainless steel hardware keep the pad anchored on contact and through scramble drills.
- Blacked-out hardware: matches Xenith helmets and pad family for a clean uniform look.
Who it's for
Skill players first. Quarterback, running back, wide receiver, slot, cornerback, safety, return man. If you also play occasional linebacker on a small roster, this pad still has the protection for it. If you're trapped on the line, look at the Pro Varsity Lineman or All Purpose.

Final stock
Xenith paused production in January 2025 and Riddell acquired the brand's assets shortly after. This is the last of our European stock. If your size sells out, message us in the chat before you order elsewhere. We may still be able to track one down through a specialist channel.

When will my order arrive?
Most EU orders arrive in 2–5 business days. You’ll see your exact ETA at checkout and in your tracking email. If anything changes, we’ll email you with the new expected date. If an item becomes unavailable, we’ll contact you right away with alternatives or a refund.
Pre-orders/backorders display an expected ship date.
What is your return/exchange policy?
Returns are accepted within 14 days from you received the item in unused condition with original packaging. Exchanges are supported; start in our Returns Portal. Refunds are processed 3–7 business days after we receive your item.
Will I pay customs, VAT or extra fees?
EU: VAT included, no fees on delivery.
Norway: VOEC—VAT collected at checkout on eligible orders.
UK & non-EU: Local duties/taxes may apply per local rules (shown or linked at checkout).
Which payment methods can I use?
